Many field guides present a variety of birds of prey from Europe, which can be confusing for newcomers to ornithology. For the first time, the renowned nature painter Bernd Pöppelmann and his son, interior designer Stephan Pöppelmann, have developed a joint project. They believe that focusing on native raptors simplifies the quick recognition of their different characteristics. Some migratory birds and "visitors" during the migration period complete the presentation in this brochure. Detailed illustrations, field studies, schematic drawings, and exclusive templates for coloring some motifs make it easier to identify the species. This also gives those who are not artistically inclined the opportunity to memorize the types of birds of prey more quickly through engagement with the template.
