Action-oriented textbook based on the modular structure of the Rhineland-Palatinate curriculum for learners in vocational schools (BS), vocational schools II (BF II), and higher vocational schools (HBF). Due to its systematic didactics, the book is also suitable for all federal states where the subject of social studies/economics is taught.

All elements for teaching vocational school subjects in the area of economics and social studies are taken into account. The elements are related to the corresponding training content and examination requirements of all commercial and technical training professions.

In each learning area, the reader will find a learning situation from daily life or from the profession, which is then placed in the respective social and economic context, thus ensuring action orientation and competence development.

At the end of each learning area, the contents are summarized in a LEARNING BOX. A KNOWLEDGE CHECK provides questions and tasks. The texts listed in the PRESS REVIEW serve as a basis for discussions. Important topics are commented on or explained in the EXCURSION section.
