The World Expo 2008 was themed "Water and Sustainable Development." Water is life, energy, beauty, home, and much more. As a water ambassador, Ernst Bromeis-Camichel swam across over 200 lakes in Graubünden during the summer of 2008. He brings the uniqueness of the element water, with all its facets ranging from environmental protection and water usage to mythology and natural phenomena, as well as artificial snow production and wellness, into the public consciousness. His impressive texts are complemented by stunning photos from Andrea Badrutt and additional contributions from science, politics, and industry.
