Product details
A psychomotor concept for handwriting acquisition
The concept "GRAFINK" offers a unique approach to the development and promotion of handwriting with heterogeneous learning groups. Handwriting is developed from the perspective of movement learning and psychomotor skills in conjunction with current handwriting didactics. The latest findings from general handwriting didactics are combined with expertise from psychomotor therapy to provide attractive materials for daily handwriting instruction for all children (with and without difficulties in learning to write).
The developmental psychological approach from the diagnostic tool GRAFOS (screening and differential diagnosis of graphomotor skills) is consistently pursued. Various engaging teaching units and practice sequences are integrated into an age-appropriate and motivating story that sparks joy in handwriting acquisition. By utilizing different teaching and learning methods that accommodate the heterogeneity of regular classes, teachers are supported in handwriting instruction. Additionally, multiprofessional teaching teams, consisting of teachers and psychomotor therapists, receive targeted guidance and materials for creating a beneficial inclusive collaboration in early writing.
