Completely redesigned prayer and hymn book: Like the earlier Gotteslob, it contains a so-called "Stammteil" (main part), which is the same for all dioceses, and (starting with number 700) a "Eigenteil" (special part), which contains texts, hymns, verses, etc. that are considered particularly important in the respective diocese. Both parts are organised in parallel in the same thematic sequence: At the beginning there are prayers and models of worship for various situations and occasions in the home environment. The hymns are then assigned to the rhythm of time and important situations in life.
