Henry Wilt is a teaching assistant at a vocational school in the countryside. Both professionally and in his marriage, he feels stuck. The man in his mid-thirties has been dealing with future gas fitters, bricklayers, and butchers for ten years, trying to introduce them to great literature. At home, his wife Eva awaits him, sexually unfulfilled and easily excited by various trendy distractions: judo, pottery, meditation. Finally, on one of her more bearable days and spurred on by phrases of libertinism she has never heard before, she is determined to emancipate herself from her husband, a disinterested and dull bedfellow. It is only understandable that this drives Wilt to the brink. The unfortunate man rehearses rebellion and even contemplates murder of a sex doll, but this leads to extremely embarrassing consequences.
