Godly play 2nd practice volume - faith stories

Godly Play is a new religious education concept designed to help children discover their spirituality. The Godly Play book series already includes an introductory volume that contains essential information about Godly Play, as well as a practical volume featuring important parables and stories for the Christmas season. The now available Volume 2 of the series offers, among other things, stories related to the church year, the Great Flood, the Exodus, the commandments, and the prophets. It is fascinating that Godly Play works with very different age groups - from toddlers (starting at 2 years old) to adults. A Godly Play session typically consists of four phases: the children gathering in a circle, the storytelling using the corresponding materials, the time for free exploration by the children, and finally, the shared reflection.
