Reading and writing disorders are among the most common developmental disorders in childhood. Teachers and therapists need to be informed about the causes and specific deficits so that they can support children individually and purposefully. The author clearly and understandably describes the connections between phonological information processing, language skills, and different sub-competencies of reading and writing.
