Gestalttherapie

This volume could be referred to as the theory volume. It is absolutely indispensable. It represents for Gestalt therapy what Freud's "The Interpretation of Dreams" represents for psychoanalysis. This book contains the theoretical foundation of Gestalt therapy. As the basis of his theory, Perls introduced the idea of "Gestalt," which he calls the "highest unit of experience." This can only be achieved when the dormant possibilities of the self are mobilized and continuously expanded and solidified in the interaction with the environment. The double volume: The English original work has been published in one volume. The German edition consists of this volume and the practice volume "Gestalt Therapy: On the Practice of Revitalizing the Self," which deals with experiments for practical application, also published in a new translation.
