Geology or Earth history encompasses all areas of study related to our planet. Therefore, it is challenging to summarize all the important points of this science in such a small space. This cannot be a detailed description or an in-depth exploration of individual research areas; rather, it is only possible to provide a brief overview of the tasks and results of geology. Creating a comprehensive picture of our Earth is very difficult, as it requires considering not only the plant and animal inhabitants and the distribution of land and sea but also immediately raises questions about the composition, structure, and formation of the Earth's surface, as well as the development of its inhabitants. All of these are questions that fall within the realm of geology.
