General Action Model Home Visits (AHH)

Home visits are a daily practice in social work. This book systematically presents the theoretical foundations, methodological approaches as well as work situations and settings of home visits. The publication focuses on a general model of action for planning, preparation, implementation, evaluation and documentation of outreach psychosocial work. The theoretical positioning of the practice of home visits is carried out with reference to the articles on lifeworld orientation, the coping with life approach, social space orientation and the concept of leading a life. Furthermore, ethical aspects, cultural perspectives, questions of professional relationship building, safety aspects as well as legal framework conditions are presented.
