Product details

Gender mainstreaming has largely gone unnoticed by the public, but it has been declared mandatory as an EU directive by all member states and recognized as a structural guiding principle of policy by the federal cabinet in its resolution of June 23, 1999. Since there is no gender-neutral reality, the goal of gender mainstreaming is to consider the different life situations and interests of women and men (girls and boys) from the outset and on a regular basis in all societal initiatives. This aims to change the structures of society so that a fair coexistence of genders becomes possible. However, to fundamentally restructure our society, we must start with the smallest units. These structures should be conveyed to girls and boys as early as possible.
