Gemeindenahes Wohnen für Menschen mit geistiger Behinderung

People have been creating living space for themselves since time immemorial. Housing is one of the basic human needs and its importance can hardly be overestimated. The subject and aim of this thesis is to provide a coherent picture of employees' efforts to provide equal housing opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities in comparison to the housing opportunities of people without disabilities. Special attention will be paid to whether the current developments and innovations in housing and support services for people with disabilities are also designed for people with (severe) intellectual disabilities and offer them equal access to forms of community-based housing.
