Yellow School is not about knowing and mastering as many leadership techniques as possible, but about being a leader and being present in leadership. Yellow School is the attitude of secure personal connection that respects people as personalities and accompanies them in their identity formation and development. It is not only crucial for successful teaching, but for the entire social interaction in the "school system".

Stefan Schmid and Erwin Müller show from their perspective as coach and principal, respectively, how teachers can develop such an attitude that also suits them personally. They draw on methods that are currently receiving a lot of attention in psychology and education.
