Product details

Safety, equality and unity, freedom, justice and individuality

The global Cybernet is the blessing of the future – it connects the feelings of people. Cybernetics, genetics, and holography ensure a long life filled with health, strength, and beauty. The world seems to have finally found peace.

The renowned memory designer Leon lives in the upper levels of the vertical city Skyscrape, and soon he will be married to his great love, Janica. However, the fatal consequences of a dubious assignment will lead to his downfall. He becomes a pawn of the powerful, and his previously successful life quickly falls apart.

When he is eventually cast down to the lower levels of the city, he experiences a world full of violence and injustice. The human body is merely an interchangeable puppet, and the lack of connection to the Cybernet calls into question his entire existence as a human. Yet, in this emotionally cold place, someone unexpectedly touches his being – more intensely than artificial empathy could ever allow.

Is the supposed blessing perhaps a curse or just the logical step of evolution?

Promising utopia, disturbing dystopia, credible science fiction – welcome to cyberpunk.
