Gear technology involute special gears for gear improvement

The present work covers areas of involute gearing that have been completely neglected in the literature so far, such as those with extremely low tooth counts, complement gears with maximum load capacities, spur and conical gears for intersecting and crossing axes, roller piston gears, as well as an overview of all gear manufacturing processes in catalog form. For all types of gearing, the complete geometric fundamentals (partially including strength calculations) are presented, illustrated with clear images, and specified through equations that allow for the calculation of all necessary gear parameters. The properties of these special gears are suitable for making gear transmissions more efficient and cost-effective.
