The collected volume 'Risk Management from a Banking Perspective - Fundamentals, Mathematical Concepts, and Application Areas' addresses current issues of risk measurement and risk control, presented by renowned authors from research and practice. The foundation is based on the results of the conference 'Mathematics in Banking and Insurance' held in December 2003 in Freiberg.
