Cathi Weye, a widely beloved and respected psychologist who is highly active in the fight against the climate crisis in her free time, wants to finally relax on a Greek island and mend her relationship with her beloved, yet increasingly strange husband, the former stage artist Ricky Kottenpeter. Unfortunately, he is trying to hide from the world and his wife that he suffers from severe anxiety disorders. Instead of composing new songs, he spends all day at home in his rehearsal room and here on vacation in their room, doing nothing but swallowing tranquilizers and battling his fear of fear. The added anxiety of potentially losing his adored Cathi drives him to somewhat irritatingly jealous actions. Next door is the flamboyant Philipp Büttner, accompanied by two women and on a mission. The seasoned journalist and womanizer wants to pull off a coup: a scruffy figure known as 'Confucius' is causing quite a stir on the internet with his bizarre appearances and powerful sermons against humanity's destruction of nature. However, no one knows who he is or what motivates him. Büttner suspects he is on the island and wants the big exposé. With so much need for relaxation and shared conversation topics, Cathi and Büttner soon find themselves dangerously close. And alongside climate issues, other catastrophes are soon on the horizon.
