What ethical principles should apply when dealing with a corporate crisis? Stefan Mayr develops a framework for an ethically legitimized corporate restructuring, based on stakeholder theory as a concept of responsibility ethics. In the empirical part, the author conducts a corporate ethics analysis of the restructuring using an anonymized case study. With the help of expert interviews, he evaluates the theoretical framework, tests the hypotheses formulated, and derives recommendations for action for all parties involved in the restructuring.
