Considering the context and realities of the operation of public hospitals in Mali, as well as the inadequacies and malfunctions that characterize their management, the government of Mali has declared reforms in the health sector as one of its focal points. The efforts aim to modernize the management of public hospitals through the introduction of management tools, particularly the Projet d'Etablissement Hospitalier. The goal of this initiative is to stimulate a new dynamic in hospital management centered around a Projet d'Etablissement Hospitalier, so that this management tool can serve as a modern planning, coordination, and management mechanism, fully fulfilling its role in the governance of public hospital facilities. This dissertation aims to examine and analyze the implementation of the Projet d'Etablissement at the level of hospitals in Mali, which represents a preferred public hospital within the Malian health system, and its impact on public hospitals in Mali.
