Without light there is no life, without sunrise there is no new day. At the end of the year, when the days are getting shorter and shorter, there is a special opportunity to marvel at this - and this is always the beginning of mysticism in thought and life. What "appears" to be as self-evident as sun and light is in fact completely astonishing and almost impossible to grasp. Advent and adventure already belong together linguistically: It is about the arrival of pure, louder light, and this casts its shadow ahead. Is this the typical pre-Christmas atmosphere, this cosy twilight between light and shadow, between longing, worry and hope? "Let there be light" - this Bible verse sounds like a cry of distress and a shout of joy at the same time. Nothing is needed more than a clear view, selfless intention, real clarification, a solstice in life and action. For each day of Advent, this calendar tells of the infinite stories of light and shadow, of the solar mysticism of everyday life and the turning point of Christmas right now: "Sun of justice, rise in our time"!
