When the sun sets, they crawl out of their holes: the Yōkai, the spirits and demons of Japan. Like all firstborns, Sayu knows that the Yōkai will come for her on the night the moon turns red. However, when her little sister Eri is kidnapped instead, Sayu's entire world is turned upside down. During the day, she suddenly has to face a challenging school life and gradually gets closer to the charming Mirai. At night, however, she fights alongside the mysterious Ryo against the Yōkai to find her sister. But this battle comes at a cost, and soon Sayu must decide: Will she save her sister or the future she never had?.
