There is a beautiful treasure of hymns that the pioneers sang on their ships. These texts and images of the songs have been preserved, as they were a blessing for every family, strengthening faith and teaching wisdom in times of distress and need. They were sung in honor of God and brought joy through the psalms of gratitude, every morning and every evening. The odyssey across the seas is based on true events. The pioneers sang daily to motivate themselves with joy and to increase their hope. They sang to the Holy God, the Holy Spirit, and to delight Jesus. The treasure of this book is filled with hymns, a treasure that the wanderers expanded over time with songs they learned. Often just through verses, the legacy of wisdom, songs that have been preserved across generations. These songs were also the favorite hymns of the great-grandparents and grandmother. For the elderly lady, it was always a tremendous joy to listen. This singing evoked memories of beautiful times during celebrations like Thanksgiving and Christmas, those wonderful moments with the entire family. This is a potpourri of melodies that I collected over time in honor of my ancestors. These symphonies come from 17 different Nordic nations, united in peace like siblings, which make up two-thirds of the Nordic province of Entre Rios in Argentina. Perhaps this collection of songs is also a blessing for every good family. The ancestors were trusting and believed in eternity and in a reunion in heaven, where the angels will sing in choirs. The pioneers, my ancestors, built churches in honor of God and collections of texts and melodies from various countries of origin and in many languages. This book contains a selection of these hymns, psalms, and texts.
