CURSUS comes new! Tried and tested remains, the course becomes more compact

• The clear four-page principle, the broad and differentiated range of exercises and the plateau lessons remain.

• The course will be more compact and consist of only 36 lessons.

Text orientation

• All Latin texts from the popular novel plot - now Lessons 1-16 - to the (adapted) original texts are focused on historical communication.

• Language and translation skills are systematically trained.

Competence orientation

• Text, language and cultural competence are built up step by step using a variety of tasks at different levels and consolidated in the course of the course.

• Separate methods courses on translation and vocabulary work as well as on dealing with (digital) media present different approaches to competence development and learning success and offer opportunities for application.

• Tasks that are also suitable for working with digital media and building digital competence are specifically identified.

Individual learning paths

• Both the text-completing tasks and the grammar tasks are offered at different levels.

• Different social forms and new types of tasks (e.g. application tasks) support the learning process.

Language education

• Language-sensitive teaching is made possible through offers for intensive support and reflection on German language skills.

• The revision of the tasks, special pages in the plateau lessons as well as language comparisons and reflection within the accompanying grammar support and motivate pupils in understanding and using the target language.

• A wide range of materials precisely extend the possibilities for self-directed, differentiated learning and teaching.
