Freiheit ist ein ständiger Kampf

Through a selection of writings, conversations, and lectures, internationally renowned activist and scholar Angela Y. Davis examines the intersections and connections of liberation struggles against oppression, exploitation, and violence around our planet. She addresses the role of the Black women's movement, the links between inequality in race, gender, and class, capitalist individualism, the movement against prisons, and police violence. She writes against the world's largest security company, G4S, which earns record profits, as well as about transnational solidarity for the resistance movements of our time. From the Black American freedom movement to the South African anti-apartheid movement, Davis reflects on significant contemporary liberation movements.
