Frauen und Armut Feministische Perspektiven

What is the social reason why women are at particular risk of poverty? Social, poverty and precarization theories have so far found few answers to this question. The anthology analyzes from feminist perspectives these theoretical inclusions and omissions of the category gender. In doing so, it also reconstructs discourses of poverty as well as the processes of making people vulnerable. In addition, poverty policies are examined and possible feminist alternatives are discussed.
