Frankenwein und eine Leiche

On a river cruise through beautiful Franconia, a wealthy American passenger is murdered just as the MS Walküre drops anchor in Nuremberg. The police, led by Commissioner Jasmin Stahl, are in the dark, and questioning the other travelers, including the enigmatic widow, yields no useful leads. Meanwhile, Paul Flemming, who is struggling with a midlife crisis, seeks relaxation and enlightenment in a monastery in Lower Franconia. All attempts by Jasmin to contact him, knowing that Paul’s investigative instincts could greatly aid her case, are rebuffed by the amateur detective: the monastic tranquility is just what he needs. Then, a mysterious new guest appears at the monastery, and soon Paul Flemming finds himself in the midst of a new case involving Franconian wine, Elvis impersonators, and the American mafia.
