Fräulein Mozart und der Klang der Liebe

A gifted pianist follows the melody of her heart. Salzburg 1766: The young Maria Anna, affectionately called Nannerl, is hardly able to fend off admirers, yet her mind is solely on music. Together with her brother Wolfgang Amadeus, she plays the piano at the most prestigious courts of Europe until she must make way for her younger brother on stage. Disappointed, she distracts herself with piano lessons and numerous dance balls. One evening, she meets the charming Franz Armand d'Ippold and feels an immediate connection to the clever man. However, Franz is by no means a good match, and the family's debts make a love marriage impossible. Yet Nannerl remains undeterred and will not give up either her music or her great love.
