Forest management encompasses all the practices that a forester applies within a forest stand to maintain its balance, ensure its regeneration, preserve and promote biodiversity, and produce goods and services for the benefit of the forest. Forest Productivity: It is defined as the capacity for wood production at a specific site over a certain period. The concept of forest productivity is very important in forestry. Its determination is a fundamental prerequisite for selecting species, establishing their location, estimating wood production, and is also a key element for assessing and ensuring the sustainability of the stands. Forest sites can be classified into fertility classes based on forest productivity. This classification is carried out through modeling by plotting the curves of dominant height against reference age using known candidate equations.
