The anthology focuses on female writers of Prague's German literature, whose works are largely lost to posterity today. The contributors reconstruct the traces of these forgotten authors, who are scarcely mentioned in literary history books. The volume provides insight into their lives and works, as well as the narratives and images that have emerged from the confluence of cultures in German-language poetry from Bohemia and Moravia, which remain relevant today. The question of non-canonical female authors and their literary fate is still pertinent. Thus, the phenomenon of forgotten authors is at the center of the anthology, which aims to encourage a re-reading of their works. Texts by Ludwig Winder, Ernst Weiss, Hermine Hanel, Hans Natonek, Hermann Ungar, Edgar M. Foltin, and Ossip Schubin are among those analyzed. Contributions are made by Jan Budnák, Christiane Dätsch, Irma Durakovic, Ingeborg Fialová-Fürstová, Anna-Dorothe Ludewig, Vahidin Preljevic, Manfred Weinberg, and others.
