Dahlia Woodson, freshly divorced and almost broke, is more than ready to reinvent herself - she quits her secure but unfulfilling job to finally pursue her big dream and win the TV cooking show "Chef's Special". But the very first thing she does is stumble on camera, and nothing else goes as planned either ...London Parker, on the other hand, is the show's first nonbinary character, and after London's pronoun is publicly announced on national television, there is absolutely no room in her head (or heart) for the bumbling chef at the table directly in front of her. First and foremost, London must first contend with all-too-familiar conservative hatred. And yet, between culinary competitions and joint outings, London and Dahlia grow closer - but can their relationship hold up in the real world?
