Culinary journey through Switzerland, where there is much to discover and enjoy. The shared heritage in pots and on plates is owed by Swiss men and women to the poverty of their working ancestors: the farmers, the alpine herders, the laborers, and the day laborers. The simple dishes were mostly passed down from mothers to daughters. What ended up on the table depended on what was available, influenced by the luck of the harvest and the season. Our ancestors created what we Swiss love with little money and imagination: traditional dishes. The trilingual Swiss cuisine is dedicated to friends around the world, but it is also a treasure trove for all lovers of simple, rustic dishes. Trilingual: French, German, English.
