Why is the flight mango actually called flight mango? And does God drink Löwenbräu? These truly important questions of life are pondered by the protagonists in the stories of cabaret artist and actor Stephan Zinner.

He turns ordinary people into everyday heroes. In their usual routines, they suddenly become alert and rebel: daydreamers engage in discussions with police officers, a gym-goer converts to Islam, a bookseller incites a revolution - which, however, goes unnoticed - and a determined grandmother even shows the devil his limits. Others dive into the unknown worlds of teenage sneaker salespeople or Helene Fischer fans.

With his eye for situational comedy and a knack for dialogues from real life, Stephan Zinner creates quirky moments and exaggerates them into absurd stories. Interspersed are serious texts that build unsettling scenarios. Stephan Zinner's first book is a collection of stories, some of which were originally designed for the stage and adapted for the book, while others were created anew. They all showcase a talent for good storytelling and surprising punchlines.
