Flug nach Arras

In 1942, two years before the author's death, the last book by Saint-Exupéry was published, entitled "Pilote de Guerre", in which flying provided the framework for the story. A pointless reconnaissance flight, in which nothing more had to be cleared up, because everything, not only the war, was lost. The only thing that could be ascertained was the senselessness of a war in which man always perishes.
