Fliege machen

A dog is responsible for Lila Ziegler ending up on the street: A homeless man known as Fliege disappears from Molle's pub, leaving his pet behind. The hefty landlord asks private detective Ben Danner and Lila to find the rightful owner of the dog to get rid of the little barker. A favor that all three believe can be easily accomplished. However, Danner and Lila encounter nothing but rejection with their inquiries in the scene. After Danner even had to take a beating, Lila mingles with the street kids and befriends Engel and Dicke. The two girls clearly know Fliege quite well. But this realization comes too late: Fliege is found, dead and frozen stiff in a bush in the park. What secret did Fliege have that cost him his life?
