Product details
Career planning remains significant today, despite the increase in empowerment and flat hierarchies, because employers still have the responsibility to allocate the most suitable employees to the right positions at the right time. This task is challenging to achieve, among other reasons, because constant change necessitates continuous review, adjustment, and control of career planning. Individuals must manage these changes, and since their career paths are de-standardized, this work first presents an individual career planning approach. To appropriately acknowledge the ongoing changes, the individual career planning is linked to a transition concept. Within the framework of transition management, systematic evaluation methods are introduced to individually analyze the diverse career transitions.
