Product details

The inclusion edition makes it easier for children with learning difficulties to acquire mathematical skills and allows for simple content and visual work. The materials have been spread out over several booklets, providing a flexible timeframe for acquiring mathematical competencies beyond the first school year. All pages of the booklets are clearly structured, simplified to a few task formats, and reduced in quantity. This enables children to navigate and work through the pages effectively. Many action-oriented and visual support exercises help children secure fundamental mathematical concepts and basic skills.

The Flex and Flo Mathematics inclusive booklets are optimized for differentiated learning objectives. This allows all children to experience success and, as in the basic edition, to work through four different thematic booklets over the course of a school year and switch to a new package after completing four booklets. The inclusion edition of Flex and Flo can be used alongside the basic edition, ensuring that all children are taught inclusively and work on content suitable for them.

The inclusive thematic booklets A and B together cover the mathematical foundations from the first school year. For instance, children work with the booklets from package A on the number range up to 10, calculations within the number range up to 10, calculations with money within the number range up to 10, and basic geometric experiences.

The Flex and Flo inclusion booklets are designed so that the content of the basic edition is significantly reduced and enriched with more exercises. This allows for an overall longer engagement with the material. For example, in relation to the thematic booklet on Addition and Subtraction 2 from the basic edition, two inclusion booklets (C and D) have been developed covering addition and subtraction up to 100. The contents of the basic and inclusion booklets are aligned.
