Anna and Max, both in their mid-forties, went to school together and later became a couple out of convenience, sharing dull couple fantasies. However, Anna, troubled by all the side effects of aging, falls in love for the first time with a woman, the 27-year-old Lilly. Max, in turn, falls for Lilly's roommate Sue, who only sleeps with him for money. Meanwhile, Lilly has to take care of her little brother, who drives both parents and teachers to despair, but Anna has certainly noticed her. Psychological terror and madness creep into the story, yet Simone Meier aims for a happy ending.
