For practical teaching work with film in general and adaptations of literature in particular, the theoretical foundations of the volume "Film Analysis in the Classroom - On the Theory and Practice of Literature Adaptations" have proven to be extremely useful in recent years. "Film Analysis in the Classroom II" builds on this, but can also be used without prior reading of the foundational volume. A helpful resource is the glossary of selected film terminology taken from the first volume, which is included in this teaching model as a "Small Film Lexicon." Additionally, the introduction chapter briefly summarizes some essential considerations and guiding questions for formal film analysis from the foundational volume. Overview of the films covered: Lippel's Dream, Inkheart, Krabat, The Wave, The Visit.
