For the first time, the development of emergency vehicles in the Munich district is documented here: including volunteer fire departments, industrial and plant fire brigades, as well as military fire services. Around 550 photos showcase the extraordinary variety of vehicle types, designs, and manufacturers. Data, facts, explanations, and the photographs combine to create a reference book and a first-class picture book. Klaus Fischer, a long-time member of the Ottobrunn fire department, has been dealing with the vehicles of fire departments in the Munich district for over 40 years. He is well-known as an amateur specialist journalist and author on fire service vehicles.
