The innovative methods of blended learning described in this book, which are applied in the context of distance education and online courses, should gain special status in educational policies during times of rapidly increasing media teaching tools that are already being used in a few distance universities today. This could enable widespread and cost-effective access to various educational areas, especially in globally disadvantaged and low-income regions. As a result, often expensive school and university structures could be alleviated and simultaneously professionalized. Lastly, the application of these methods in school and higher education didactics could also address the increasingly intertwined and rapidly evolving shift towards interdisciplinary and niche-specific professions.
