Feministisch streiten

Feministisch streiten brings together theses and utopias of a feminism that moves between reason and passion: this means, on the one hand, a reasonable critique of society in the spirit of the Enlightenment, and on the other, passionate identity politics. A materialistic feminism capable of political action must not lose sight of either pole, but must move between them, aware of the contradictions. It must encourage people to take to the streets for their own political interests, while at the same time criticising capitalist patriarchy as the overarching form of society. In doing so, it deliberately argues from the perspective of women. In its inner tension between identity politics and social critique, feminism works best as a solidary and argumentative confrontation of women who see themselves as women.
