Despite various societal crises, feminism in this country often remains confined to academia and subculture, social work, and neoliberal self-presentation. Meanwhile, capitalist patriarchy shapes the lives of women, queers, and racialized individuals all over the world. A feminism that seeks to overturn these conditions must think and act transnationally. How do we break out of our limited niches? How can we relate to and organize with each other in a feminist way? Which social movements serve as role models? And: Who are "we" anyway? Feminist Disputes 2 seeks answers - in the broad movements against femicides and for the right to abortion, in the analysis of division of labor and patriarchal violence, and in a transnational engagement with religion, ecology, transphobia, colonialism, and antisemitism.
