Fehler-, Risiko- und Safety Management im Gesundheitswesen

Starting from a single, insignificant error, a whole series of unpredictable and harmful events can occur in the areas of flight and patient safety. This work addresses problem-solving approaches and error minimization models, as well as risk analyses that have long been applied preventively in aviation and have led to a reduction in unwanted incidents and accidents. The transferability of standardized procedures from aviation to healthcare is already present but still has room for further development. The tools used in aviation and how Safety Management Systems can also function in healthcare are vividly illustrated through examples.
