Great excitement in an Austrian provincial town: A toddler has been murdered. Amid the widespread horror, a popular uprising is brewing. The locals suspect the Bohemian outsider Blacha, who has a penchant for sending dogs and cats to the afterlife. The authorities are doing nothing. Instead, the eccentric Viennese Commissioner Mohatsch is dispatched as a special investigator. He is said to have a sixth sense when it comes to solving mysterious cases. And this case is certainly mysterious. Initially, the child disappeared for several days before being found dead at home. During his investigations, Mohatsch repeatedly encounters a strange couple that seems to be observing him.
