Farne und Farnpflanzen des Shivapuri Nagarjun Nationalparks, Nepal

The present study recorded 50 species of ferns and fern allies from 17 families. Polypodiaceae and Dryopteridaceae are the largest families, each with 7 species. This study reported five rare ferns from the research area: Loxogramme cuspidata, Adiantum caudatum, Adiantum raddianum, Vittaria himalayensis, and Diacalpe aspidioides. An endangered fern, Cyathea spinulosa, was also reported from the research area. Adiantum raddianum C. Presl. is reported from this area (Central Nepal) for the first time.
