Care situations are becoming increasingly complex. At the same time, scientifically proven nursing knowledge is becoming denser, and the requirements for situation-appropriate action are increasing. In daily practice, it is important to harmonise scientific findings with individual needs. Case work is a good method for this. It serves reflection, decision-making and problem-solving. This book deals with methods of practical case work, the case report as a form of publication in contrast to case studies as a research design. After general explanations of terms, the methodology of case work is introduced, its basic elements are presented theoretically and illustrated by examples from practice.
