Resist the beginnings... and now the Saxon voice is missing. The significance and evaluation of these statements only become clear when one reads the press excerpts from May 2019, which are attached here. Just a little in advance: these and all further press releases show how necessary and important it would be to talk with each other and not just about each other. The content also addresses the interconnections of sports, politics, and volunteer work, how they mutually condition, influence, and yet also exclude each other. This book will focus on the significance of sports, embedded in a personally written autobiography of a long-serving volunteer sports official, and the connections between sports and politics related to his life. It deals with the "political" development of sports and the question of whether sports can or should be political.
