Product details

The seminar material includes the central conversation guides for implementing the No Blame Approach as well as basic information on the topic of bullying. The No Blame Approach is an effective intervention strategy to stop bullying among students in a short period of time. The approach consists of three sequential steps: 1. Conversation with the person affected by bullying, 2. Conversation with the support group, 3. Follow-up discussions. The No Blame Approach is carried out by educational professionals working at the school. Its effectiveness lies in involving the students involved in the bullying in a group process that helps to end the bullying promptly. There is a conscious avoidance of blaming the individuals involved. Instead, they are addressed as helper experts and actively included in the solution process, thus taking responsibility for stopping the bullying. The effectiveness of the No Blame Approach was evaluated in 2008. The results of this study were extremely positive: bullying among students was stopped in 87% of the evaluated cases (a total of 220 bullying incidents). An online survey conducted in 2016 confirmed these results.
