"Specialised English for Pharmaceutical Technical Assistants" is a textbook and workbook designed for students at vocational schools training to become pharmaceutical technical assistants. The workbook meets all curricula requirements across federal states. The language level aligns with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, specifically B2-C1. It prepares students to advise customers in pharmacies on specialized topics in English, effectively equipping them for everyday working life.

This resource is also suitable for refreshing the English language skills of practicing pharmacists and other specialized pharmaceutical staff.

Current topics include various types of medication, allergies, and consultation dialogues.

The structure consists of small, clearly organized units featuring:

• Entry page with learning objectives
• Technical content with exercises
• Grammar
• Repetition with exercises related to the unit's content
• Vocabulary of the unit

Every four units are followed by a double-page 'station learning' section to reinforce the content.

The exercises are diverse, including cloze texts, listening comprehension tasks, quizzes, tandem sheets, mediation, word snakes, word salad, business letters, translations, dialogues, synonyms, antonyms, memory cards, and more. There are varying levels of difficulty (Easy - Medium - Advanced) to facilitate internal differentiation.

Additionally, separately available teacher materials, including solutions, offer teaching resources such as worksheets and didactic instructions for team teaching, allowing for bilingual instruction across subjects. This content is clearly labeled in both the textbook and workbook. Transcripts for the listening comprehension tasks are also included.
